Tasks and Responsibilities: The Camp Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of a summer camp program for children and families in the housing community. This position involves overseeing all camp activities, working with other staff and volunteers to ensure a safe and engaging environment, and providing leadership to help meet the educational and recreational goals of the camp.

As a Camp Counselor, you’ll work directly with younger children, leading activities, helping with camp programs, and ensuring a safe, fun, and supportive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain leadership experience while making a positive impact in your community!

At Camille’s Place, our board members are actively involved in decision-making and operations. This is not just an advisory role. Board members meet once a month for approximately 1.5 hours. Attendance is essential. Our board includes representatives from our founding group and community members who bring diverse perspectives and lived experiences. Directors are encouraged to attend workshops and conferences to enhance their skills and better serve the community.
